2nd Radiator Relocated displaced electrics232 viewsHere you can see some of the new locations for the displaced electrics. The flasher unit is now on the other side of the frame. With the fuel tank installed I have at least 3/8" clearance on all components. Tabs were added or moved on the stock coolant bottle bracket as needed. The stock CDI bracket was cut into multiple pieces for best fit of the components. Note the custom 195 degree stat housing on the side of the head.jeffsaline

2nd Radiator New CDI Location185 viewsThis is the new location of the CDI. Places to locate this unit are few and far between. I chose this location as it would be in fresh air for cooling and pretty well protected. At temperatures below 70 degrees there doesn't appear to be any problem with cooling. Warm/Hot weather testing will tell the tale on whether I made a good choice or not.jeffsaline

KLR650 with a 2nd Radiator from a KLR250217 viewsThis is the result of installing a KLR250 right radiator on my KLR650. It displaced the coolant bottle and all the electrics on the CDI bracket. So far, with only cool to cold weather tests completed the performance is promising.jeffsaline
